What We Collect

When you complete our online Gift Aid form or contact us through this website, we may collect the following personal data:

• Your full name

• Your postal address

• Your email address (optional)

This information is collected via Google Forms and stored securely in our records.

Why We Collect It

We collect and use this information to:

• Process Gift Aid claims with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)

• Maintain financial and administrative records as required by law

• Respond to enquiries or communication requests

How We Store and Use Your Data

• Your data is stored securely via Google Workspace (Forms and Sheets).

• Access is restricted to authorised members of the church committee responsible for Gift Aid and administration.

• Your data is never shared with third parties, except where legally required (e.g., with HMRC for Gift Aid processing).

• Gift Aid declarations are retained for six years, in line with HMRC audit requirements.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Correct any inaccuracies in that data

• Request that your data be deleted (unless we are legally required to retain it)
